It began snowing in mid-November. It is now mid-March, and we still have a foot of snow on the ground. Every time it melts, it snows again that night. So we have not seen bare ground for more than a couple of hours for four months, and have seen over 80 inches of snow fall, in total. We have had record-breaking cold, too. For a transplanted Southern-girl, it is beginning to challenge my committment to enjoy every season for what that season has to offer. Still, you can't deny the beauty. Here is a little I've managed to capture, tho I've been terribly negligent in taking pictures this second year here.
